UTCC International Welcomes ThailandChina Education Partnership Delegation and Chinese KOLs
On July 22, 2025, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) International Relations Division, in collaboration with the Thailand-China Education Partnership (TCEP) a strategic initiative supported by Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, proudly welcomed a distinguished delegation of Chinese Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and education executives to its Bangkok campus.

Among the honored guests were Mr. Liu Xi, Deputy Dean of the Beijing International Wealth Management Institute, and Uncle Bao, a Chinese influencer with over 5 million followers, accompanied by the TCEP delegation. The group visited UTCC International as part of an educational study tour designed to strengthen Thailand-China collaboration in higher education.

The visitors were warmly received by Dr. Sasirin Sayasonti, Vice President for International Relations; Ms. Parichart Thammajinda, Head of International Relations; UTCC International staff; Mr. Wang Mingliang, Deputy Dean of the Thailand-Chinese International School of Management (TCISM) and TCISM students.

During their visit, the delegation toured key international learning facilities at UTCC, including:
  • UTCC Central Library
  • College of Nursing
  • International School of Management (ISM)
  • UTCC cabin mock-up
  • Harbour.Space@UTCC, a hub for innovation and digital technology education

The official welcome was hosted at the University Council Meeting Room, 15th Floor, Building 24.

This international visit created valuable opportunities for academic dialogue, cultural exchange, and future partnerships between Thai and Chinese institutions. It also underscored UTCC’s strong commitment to providing globally-focused, innovation-driven education and building lasting international relationships in higher education.
