UTCC Signs MOU with Yunnan Open University to Strengthen Educational and Research Cooperation

On 18 August 2025, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), through its International Relations Division, formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Yunnan Open University, People’s Republic of China, to strengthen cooperation in higher education and research.
The signing ceremony took place at the University Council Meeting Room, Iconic Building (Building 24), 15th floor, and was presided over by senior representatives from both institutions.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Sasirin Sayasonti, Vice President for International Relations at UTCC, and Prof. Yang Lihong , Vice President, Yunnan Open University. Both sides emphasized the importance of building long-term partnerships to enhance academic exchange, joint research initiatives, and cross-border educational opportunities.
Also present at the ceremony were Ms. Parichart Thammajinda, Head of International Relations at UTCC, and administrative staff members from both universities, who witnessed the historic signing.
This MOU reflects UTCC’s commitment to expanding its global network and creating international platforms that benefit students, faculty, and researchers from Thailand and China.
