UTCC Welcomes Delegation from the Embassy of Hungary to Strengthen Academic Collaboration and Future Initiatives
On 20 January 2026, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) warmly welcomed H.E. Dr. Szilvia Szalóki, Ambassador of Hungary to Thailand, along with her delegation, for a courtesy visit and discussions on academic collaboration and future joint initiatives.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for international academic cooperation, as well as preparations for upcoming collaborative activities between UTCC and Hungarian partners. The visit marked an important step in strengthening educational ties between Thailand and Hungary.

On this occasion, Dr. Sasirin Sayasonti, Vice President for International Relations at UTCC, delivered the welcoming remarks and expressed her sincere pleasure in hosting the delegation from the Embassy of Hungary. She reaffirmed UTCC’s strong commitment to promoting international partnerships and fostering global academic collaboration.

H.E. Dr. Szilvia Szalóki expressed her appreciation for the warm reception and highlighted the Embassy’s interest in expanding cooperation with UTCC. The meeting also included an introduction to UTCC’s academic profile, international programs, and strategic vision.

In addition, discussions covered the objectives of the Embassy of Hungary’s visit to Bangkok, as well as preparations for future collaborative projects and activities with Foldana Group (University of Miskolc). Other relevant topics related to academic exchange and institutional cooperation were also explored.

This visit reflects UTCC’s ongoing efforts to enhance its global engagement and develop meaningful international partnerships that create long-term academic and educational value.
